    You have the right to be safe on the Internet and have a fast connection when you need it for school work. You have the responsibility to stay away from inappropriate or time wasting sites.

    • If you do stumble onto a site that makes you uncomfortable, push the stop button and go tell an adult. (Our filters block most "adult" sites, but there is always a chance it misses something and you have to be a safe user of the Internet.)
    • Ask an adult whenever you are uncertain.
    • Use online games only when given permission. (The Seattle Schools Network was developed for school related activities. Online games can clog the system, making legitimate research difficult all over the district.
