School Meal Refund Request Process

Dear Laurelhurst Elementary Families, 

If you have paid for school meals after the recent school meals program change, you can request a refund by following these steps: 

  1. Complete the Refund Request Form: The attached form needs to be filled out by the parent/guardian and returned to Culinary Services. 
  2. Submit the Refund Request Form:
  • Mail: Culinary Services MS 32-372, PO Box 34165, Seattle, WA 98124-1165 
  • Fax: 206-252-0664

  • Let’s Talk dialogue: Provide as an attachment 
  1. Ways to Obtain the Refund Request Form:
  • Submit a Let’s Talk dialogue with your request for a refund; the form will then be provided to complete and return.
  • On the Let’s Talk landing page, select the “Refund Request” button in the section of “Student Lunchroom Meal Accounts”: Seattle Public Schools Culinary Services 
  • Visit our Culinary Services webpage to download the Refund Request Form

Once the refund request has been submitted to Culinary Services, the funds will be deducted from the student’s lunchroom account and a check payment will be sent to the parent/guardian via U.S. Mail.
